Mr. ManThing and I celebrated Valentines Day on the 13th because he had to work on the 14th. We've had a tradition since our first Valentine's Day together to watch Lady and the Tramp together and eat spaghetti and meatballs. We started our evening when he got home from work watching James Bond: Casino Royale (I had never seen the ones with Daniel Craig yet!). I put together a cheese plate from Whole Foods as a surprise snack when he got home!
From Left to Right:
Guilloteau Saint Angel Brie, Monterey Jack with Habanero, Mammoth Cheddar & Cotswold Cheddar
So we watched Casino Royale, which I am in love with Daniel Craig's version of Bond, and I started the spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove until dinner time. While we were waiting I surprised Kevin with these homemade chocolates!
Oh yes! Those are homemade Han Solo in Carbonite Chocolates! I bought Kevin the Han Solo ice cube tray at Dragon*Con and I thought that it would work perfect for making chocolates and I was right! He was very excited when he saw that I made these for him.
We had a wonderful dinner with Mr. ManThing and just a wonderful night watching Lady and the Tramp.
Then we finished our evening with homemade chocolate covered strawberries. It was a wonderful quiet Valentine's day, which is how I like it. I love when I get an evening to spend with ManThing, it makes me so happy.
Also, look at these tulips he got me! Aren't they so pretty!? It's funny because I cut them to shorten them and they've grown at least 3 inches (probably more) since then! They are such a pretty color though. I hope everyone else had a wonderful Valentine's Day. <3

What a wonderful Valentine's Day you had. We had spaghetti as well haha. :)
