Happy New Year!

Here is our New Year, via Instagram.

We were gifted these bottles of champagne a while ago and we never drank them. New Years is as good as a time as any! We bundled up and went down to the University and watched, in panoramic view, all of the fireworks.

Adults do New Years with homemade chocolate chip cookies and a small glass of champagne, right? 

This morning we got up (at 7am ugh) and went over to Walt Disney World for our engagement photo shoot with Korena. I can't begin to tell you all how excited I am to see these! Some of the ones she showed me made me so happy. 

When we got there we went to guest services and got our 'Just Engaged!' badge! I wore mine around the park when we weren't taking pictures and people kept giving us congratulations, it was very sweet.

After a few hours of shooting we went over to Epcot for lunch in Japan. Here is the remnants of our first real meal of 2013. After spending about 6 hours at Disney Mr. ManThing and I returned home and sat around for a little while then decided that we would start spring cleaning by taking down our Christmas stuff.

We started by taking down my DIY Holiday Ornament Garland and fitting it in a perfect sized storage bin that will fit under the bed.

Now we are watching Beauty and the Beast and eating Sriracha Chicken Strips with broccoli! I hope everyone else had a wonderful beginning of the New Year!
